The National Alliance for Children’s Grief is committed to raising awareness about the needs of grieving children, teens, and their families. We invite you to become a partner in raising awareness for childhood bereavement.
Join us for Children's Grief Awareness Month
Each November we observe Children’s Grief Awareness Month with a series of events and a dedicated campaign.
Host a conference event in your community
The prevalence of childhood bereavement continues to rapidly increase following the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact extends beyond the child and affects the family, schools, and community. The NACG provides you with the tools you need to host a conference and start conversations around childhood bereavement in your community. We invite you to be a leader in your community by hosting this event.
Learn your state's data and statistics
Childhood grief has profound impacts on youth, families, and communities. In partnership with the New York Life Foundation, Judi’s House developed the Childhood Bereavement Estimation Model (CBEM) to understand the magnitude of the issue.
Write to your elected officials through the Action Center
This tool supports our collective outreach to representatives in all levels of government along with local and national media. We encourage you to share your voice as we work to raise awareness of the critical need for support for children who are grieving.
Support the NACG through your donation
Your support brings us closer to our vision that no child has to grieve alone.
“Your donation grows our capacity to support the bridge-building to every grieving child across the nation. As a collective, we have the power to change so much – Join Us.” –Vicki Jay, NACG CEO
