PoC Affinity Group. This call is a member-led group open to all childhood bereavement professionals who identify as persons of color. The PoC Affinity Group connects people of color within the childhood bereavement field with each other. It ensures a confidential and brave space within the larger body of NACG membership for members of color to speak and participate openly in sharing experiences relating to race and ethnicity as it connects to our work in childhood bereavement. Calls are scheduled on a regular basis and you will receive an invite ahead of the scheduled call. This call is schedule to meet every other month on the last Monday of the month at 1:00pm ET.

Neurodiverse Affinity Group. This call is a member-led group open to all childhood bereavement professionals who identify as neurodivergent. Our Neurodivergent Affinity Group is a welcoming space where we come together to share experiences, celebrate strengths, and discuss the unique challenges and perspectives that neurodivergence brings. The group fosters connection, mutual support, and advocacy. Whether you want to share strategies, learn from others, or simply spend time in a community where you can be yourself – you are welcome here. Discussions are participant-led, and topics range from workplace accessibility and self-advocacy to daily living hacks and creativity. This call is scheduled to meet every other month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 12:00pm ET.

This ensures a confidential and brave space within the larger body of NACG membership for members of this community to speak and participate openly in sharing experiences relating to gender identity and sexuality as it connects to our work in childhood bereavement. Calls are scheduled on a regular basis and you will receive an invite ahead of the scheduled call. This call is scheduled to meet the first Wednesday of every other month at 1:00pm ET.

Advanced Career Research and Evaluation. This call is limited to NACG members who are advanced career researchers (more than 10 years since completing a doctoral degree). The Discussion Hub chair will review applications and confirm the meeting link to applicants who meet the criteria for joining.
Early Career Research Discussion Hub. This hub is for NACG members who are doctoral students or early career researchers (within 10 years of completing a PhD or another terminal degree) and are currently working on research or evaluation projects. Meetings will take place monthly on the second Thursday of each month at 2:00pm ET for 45 minutes.
Development Professionals. This hub is designed for development and advancement professionals who support youth bereavement programs and are interested in strengthening their fundraising strategies through shared learning and peer discussion. This group meets quarterly at 3:00pm ET on the third Thursday of the first month of each quarter.
Grief Camps. This call is scheduled to occur on the first Thursday of every month at 12pm ET.
Grieving with Disabilities. This call is scheduled to occur monthly on the second Tuesday of every month at 1pm ET.
Hospice. This call is for NACG members who provide grief programming for youth and are affiliated with a hospice organization. Meeting goals include connection, collaboration, and tackling the unique complexities of providing grief support under the hospice umbrella. This call is scheduled to occur every other month on the second Tuesday at 1pm ET.
Private Practice Clinicians. This call is open to anyone in private practice. This call is scheduled to occur monthly on the second Friday of every month at 12pm ET.
Program Evaluation Discussion Hub. This call is for NACG members who are interested in discussing in-house evaluation designs, measures, approaches, and best practices. This call is scheduled to occur on the first Tuesday of every month at 12pm ET.
School Group. This call is scheduled to occur on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 12pm ET, excluding holidays.
Serving Spanish-speaking Grievers. This call is scheduled to occur quarterly.

Supporting Young Adults Who Are Grieving. For those who are serving young adults grievers,18 and above, and are interested in discussing and learning how to best support this population. This call is scheduled to occur on the first Thursday of every month at 11:00am ET.
