Accepting Creative Arts Workshop Proposals
The NACG is pleased to be hosting our 2nd Creative Arts Intensive as an optional half-day workshop immediately before the 2025 National Symposium on Children’s Grief. We are seeking proposals from experienced professionals in the field of creative arts to present at the 2nd Creative Arts Intensive. This immersive event is designed to provide creative tools and strategies that professionals can use to support children who are grieving. We are seeking dynamic, engaging presenters to lead three hands-on sessions focused on different creative modalities that can help children express and process their grief. Sessions should offer practical techniques and innovative approaches that attendees can implement in their work with children and families. Only complete proposals will be considered.

About the Symposium
The National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG) Symposium is the longest-running and most comprehensive Childhood Bereavement Symposium offered in the United States. The NACG Symposium draws more than 500 children’s grief support professionals and volunteers from a variety of organizations throughout and outside the United States each year. The annual NACG Symposium offers participants the opportunity to learn of the latest research and clinical developments in working with children and teens who are grieving; enhance skills and knowledge to deliver state-of-the-art services to these children and adolescents; engage in dialogue with colleagues, clinicians, researchers, and other grief support professionals to exchange ideas, information, and clinical expertise.
The symposium offers varied workshops and poster presentations on topics important to children’s grief issues, program development, non-profit administration, activities, fundraising, grief support models, and more.
